Shipping Policy

We hand-pack every order at our Ohio apiary with the same care we give our hives. Below is everything you need to know about how your order gets to you.

Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays). During farmers market and trade show weekends, processing may take a bit longer — any delays will be posted on our homepage.

Shipping Rates & Delivery

We ship via USPS and UPS to addresses within the continental United States. Shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout based on your order's actual weight, package size, and delivery destination. Handling fee may be applicable to orders over $100. ($1-4).

Where We Ship

We currently ship to the forty-eight contiguous United States. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or internationally is not yet available online — customers can email info@lindasbeefarm.com to request it.

Live Bee Colonies, Nucs & Packages

Live honeybee colonies, nucs, and packages are available by local pickup or regional delivery only, in Westlake and Southington, Ohio. We do not ship live bees — the stress of transit and USPS live-animal mailing restrictions make it unsafe for the colony. Customers reserve a pickup window at checkout or contact us to arrange delivery.

Temperature-Sensitive Products

Beeswax candles and the Essence of Abeja skincare line (lotions, balms, soaps, body wash) contain natural waxes and oils that can soften in extreme heat during transit.

        During summer months, these items ship early in the week to avoid sitting in a hot truck or warehouse over the weekend.

        Raw and infused honey may naturally crystallize in wintry weather normally, does not affect quality. Warm the jar in warm water to restore it to liquid.

Local Pickup

Customers can skip shipping entirely by selecting local pickup at checkout for Crocker Park (Westlake, OH) or the Golden Age Vintage Market (Girard, OH).

Damaged, Lost, or Delayed Packages

Customers should inspect orders on arrival. Damaged items: email info@lindasbeefarm.com within 7 days with photos for a replacement or refund. Once USPS tracking confirms delivery, loss/theft after delivery is not guaranteed — but LBF will help file a carrier claim.
