❖  THE MISSION — WHERE IT BEGINS

In 2013, Seth Steward lost his mother, Linda, to congestive heart failure. In the silence that followed, he did what builders do — he created. He turned to apiculture not as a hobby, but as a calling, and built a farm in her name as a living tribute to a woman who demonstrated compassion, tenderness, thoughtfulness, charity, and love to every soul she encountered.

Linda’s Bee Farm, LLC exists to continue her tradition — to protect, preserve, and promote the habitat of honeybees in the ecosystem, and to carry forward the same warmth she embodied into every jar, every hive, and every community it touches.

“The short answer is that everything I have experienced — the accomplishments, the failures, the wins, the losses, the disappointments, and the celebrations — all of it brought me here. If I can observe the bees and develop a relationship with them, then perhaps I can obtain a more insightful understanding and relationship with her — Mother Nature.”

❖  BIOGRAPHY

Born in Union County, New Jersey and raised in Linden, Seth Steward is the third of four children — a self-described convergent synthesizer who has spent a lifetime building systems that serve others. His academic journey spans Automotive Technology (Lincoln Technical Institute), Computer Science (Youngstown State University), Business and African Studies (Kent State University), and Real Estate (Hondros College, Ohio Licensed Realtor, 2007). Each discipline was not a detour — it was training in how systems work and how to make them work better.

He has attended advanced beekeeping workshops, forums, and certification training in Wooster, Plain City, and Trumbull County, Ohio — accumulating both the science and the spirit of apiculture over more than a decade of dedicated practice.

❖  PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

For over 35 years, Seth has served in the Marketing Department of the U.S. Postal Service, Cleveland Northern Ohio District. He holds the designation of Lean Six Sigma Integrated Operations Process & Logistics Specialist, with a sustained focus on Continuous Improvement — diagnosing bottlenecks, eliminating waste, and building systems that sustain themselves. He brings this same discipline to every hive he tends.

As a second-generation beekeeper, Seth carries the tradition of his grandfather, Dan Massey of Canton, Ohio, who raised honeybees as a hobby in the 1940s and 1950s. What his grandfather began as a pastime, Seth has elevated into a legacy enterprise. Linda’s Bee Farm currently manages 80+ honeybee colonies across Coshocton, Cuyahoga, and Trumbull Counties — specializing in Premium Specialty Crafted Bee Products under the expanding Beepothekere brand umbrella.

From 2019 to 2020, Seth served as Advisor to the Bee Master 4-H Club of Trumbull County — investing the next generation in the same craft that renewed him. He understands that the hive teaches patience, systems thinking, and the art of tending what matters.

❖  LINEAGE & LEGACY

Seth and his wife Adrienne M. Steward — married May 12, 2001 — are the architects of a family of eight. Together they are parents to six children (three sons and three daughters) and proud grandparents of five. The family is the first colony. The farm is its extension.

❖  DISCIPLINES & INTELLECTUAL INTERESTS

Seth’s intellectual life reflects the same convergent synthesis that defines his brand. Each interest below is not a hobby — it is a lens through which he reads the hive, the community, and the world:
